Hypromellose Vacant Capsule
Hypromellose Capsule Shell consists of two overlapping pieces (cap and body). One end of each piece is rounded and closed while the other end is open. The cap overlaps the body and maintains a tight closure. Hypromellose Capsule Shells are composed of USP Hypromellose and water.
Advantages of Hypromellose vacant capsules:
HPMC capsules the mechanical properties do not depend upon moisture content. Even under dry conditions, HPMC capsules robustly maintain adequate elasticity.
Tests indicate that HPMC displays low elastic modulus, indicating a greater elasticity and comparably higher degree of recovery time to applied stress. In layman’s terms, HPMC capsules “bounce back” effectively, maintaining its protection effectiveness without allowing adverse conditions to compound upon one another.
